Remembering Tom Petty

Four years ago today, Tom Petty passed away at the age of 66. Throughout his 40-year career, Petty played heartland rock like few others. He was a master of both pop songcraft and sneering rock, and his songs about rebels, outcasts and refugees will live forever.
There are two medleys below. They are filled with those songs.

It was a shock when he passed and already has been four years. Tom and the Heartbreakers were like no one else. Had tickets to see him about five years ago when his Midwest dates were canceled at the last minute. Always hoped to catch in Gainesville when our son was at UF.
Thanks for the medleys of his timeless music Ray. Hope you are enjoying the spectacular fall of New England.

Tom’s death was a huge loss for the music world, Marty. I’m so glad you enjoyed the medleys.

Not a lot of color in central NH yet but it’s coming! Stay safe, my friend.
