We broadcast this massive collection of Elvis Presley songs twice a year; on his birthday and on the anniversary of his death. Today marks the 44th anniversary of his passing.
If you loved the 50s era Elvis, there’s a medley for you. If you were really into his 60s music, there’s a medley for you. Were you a fan of the King’s music in the 70s? Yes, there is a medley for you, too. And if you loved it all, there is one very long (2 hour) medley, covering all three decades!

Because of you, I know who Elvis was and grew up loving his music after he was gone. Because of your post, while my mind must have been preoccupied, I was reminded of that day from all those days ago. And I do remember. 🙂 I’m currently listening to The Complete Medley….and loving it!!!! Thanks for the memories! 🙂 XOXOXOXO 🙂
Thank you, Wendyl ❤️
I remember the night I told you Elvis had died. It may have been 44 years ago but it still feels like yesterday.
❤️XOXOXOXO❤️
Listened to the 50’s and 60’s(my favorite). Will listen to the 70’s later. It doesn’t seem possible that it has been 44 years. Such a sad day, but so many great memories in his music.
Thanks, Pat. 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed it. It really does seem hard to believe that it has been 44 years.
OMG .. hard to believe it has been that long! I was working at a truck stop in the middle of no where Nebraska, getting ready for work when the news came out. I remember just standing there in disbelief!! He had such an amazing voice, I loved his gospel singing but he also seemed to be a tormented soul and I think the fame was too much for him! Loved listening to these today, helped get thru the day and who can honestly say listening to Elvis gets old. Thank you for sharing Ray and have a great evening my friend!
Thank you, Penny 🙂
I’m so happy you enjoyed it. 🙂
