It’s Father’s Day and I didn’t feel like doing too much. However, today is also the first day of summer so I felt like I had to something about that.
So I’m taking the easy way out and reposting a summer medley I ran several months ago.🙂

Ray, you are hitting all the right buttons on this first day of Summer. Who better to kick off the festivities than Sly himself. He was always ready to get the party started. The Kinks remind us to enjoy what you have on a sunny afternoon. The Drifters evoke summer resort time almost better than anyone, and Kenny Chesney has made a career of straw hats and sandy feet. Nat King Cole makes everyone happy that Summer has arrived. Well done my friend!
