A Fab Movie Medley

It’s a different kind of Beatles medley today. All of the songs were included in the five Beatle films and every member of the group is featured on lead vocal at least once Yeah, that means even Ringo gets to share the spotlight . ๐Ÿ™‚

Good morning Ray. How can you go wrong with an all Beatles medley? You must have read my mind because I was just playing the Beatles #1 cd yesterday. Guess I just needed a Beatles fix. I must confess that I am not good at identifying the lead singer in Beatles songs. I just lose myself in the song and donโ€™t care who has the lead. Ringo is the exception, his happy go lucky sound usually would shine through. Most of the songs here are from the early period where the harmonies prevailed. I love that sound, the โ€œgroupโ€ sound. Donโ€™t get me wrong, I truly love their entire catalog, but to me this was the โ€œinnocent โ€œ period. I think I was the perfect age to enjoy the boys from Liverpool and grow with them.
So Ray, you did it again and made my day. It is nice to have my own personal Disc Jockey. You are The Man! Rock on my Brother.

Good morning, Don. You CAN’T ever go wrong with the Fab Four!
Ringo had (and still has) that distinctive voice but just for kicks, here are the lead singers in the songs, in chronological order: ๐Ÿ™‚
      John – George – Paul – John – John – George – John – Paul – Ringo – Paul
I’m very glad you enjoyed it all!
      ROCK ON, MY BROTHER!

Thanks Ray. Good information. I will clean my ears and listen again.
I almost used the adjective โ€œgoofy โ€œ to describe Ringoโ€™s voice but decided on โ€œhappyโ€ so as not to offend anyone. I like his voice and would never want to insult him.

“Goofy” wouldn’t have offended me. ๐Ÿ™‚ It was just so remarkably different from the others. I think his singing has improved over the years.

Memory music today. Me, Sherry, Alanna & Angie walking to the movies wearing sailor hats, why I’m not sure but they all owned one & Alanna’s brother loaned me his. Fun movie. Classmates Marty Morse & Mark Rice were there too. I wonder how many more. 8 Days a week I’ll remember, Thanks for a happy music medley. ๐Ÿ™‚ Lee

What is not to love abut a Beatles medley? We were so lucky to be young when they were becoming mega stars. My first albums were the Beatles. Thank you, as always, for making my day better with music of my younger days.
