The time has come to slide away from rock and roll memories and focus on Christmas music for the next ten days. Over the course of those ten days, there will be novelty songs, country music songs, and of course, the traditional songs loved by so many.
But today, we start out with just one “song,” something I recorded 15 years ago but has, over the years, been requested every year.
One December morning in 2005, I had some time to spare before the 6:00 start of the ‘Heather & Ray Show‘ and decided there was enough of that extra time to record something special.
It was Santa’s Secret, written by Betty Werth in 1988 for her 4-year old son. As it turned out, recording her extraordinary poem was time well spent because I have been asked to played it every Christmas. I offer it again today and hope the words touch your heart.

I thank you for this. I am going to play it for my grandson during our reading time tonight..
Thank you, Victoria. π
I hope he enjoys hearing it as much as I did recording it.
That was very nice Ray. Great message and a good way to start the season. Your delivery was pitch perfect. Letβs hope all will take this to heart.
Thank you, Don.
I’d be happy if just a few took it to heart. We surely need more caring in this world.
ROCK ON, BRO!
