Wendy’s Rocking Medley

Last Monday I played a medley request from Wendy which featured music that displayed the mellow side of her personality.

This week she’s sent in a list of songs that represent her rock and roll side, and as can be seen in the photo below, she’s been rocking (and singing) for a long time! πŸ™‚

I’ve said this before but it bears repeating. If you want to send me a list of 6-10 oldies (rock or country), I’ll do my best to put together a medley for YOU! Send the list to me at … Raylemire@aol.com

Well, this was a great way to start the day…and the week! Loved listening to it and hope others enjoy it too. Music is a gift. I don’t know if I’d have heard any of these without your guidance and taking the time to share your love of music with me. Thanks Daddy!!!! XOXOXOXO

      Thank you, Wendyl ❀️
I thoroughly enjoyed putting this one together. Your song selections were so, so good!
Music lives in your soul and I couldn’t be more proud of the woman who grew up as a Beatle baby and has always stayed true to herself.
      XOXOXOXO

Wendy you Rock! Thank you for suggesting such a fine mix. Nothing like a little loud noise to start the week.
I especially like the inclusion of both ELO and the Doobies. It seems like they don’t get the credit they deserve for all the fine music they have produced.
Keep pushing your Dad to β€œset it at 11”.
The listening was made even better by the adorable photo of you. Priceless!

Thanks Don! My Daddy taught me about ALL the great artists for sure! I know we will be tuning in and turning it up for many years to come! πŸ™‚

        Very sweet, Wendy. ❀️
Not that I have decided to permanently drop the history lessons and focus all of my energy into the music medleys, I’m ready to go for another 10 years or so (maybe more). πŸ™‚

Ray, I have a daughter, Victoria. She was born 17 years after the youngest of our 3 boys. She just turned 31 and to say that she is the light of my life would be an understatement. We loved to listen to music together all the time. I think I know how you feel about Wendy. It is a wonderful experience. Sadly she now lives in Flordia I I don’t get to see her as much as I like. The memories are amazing.
I did notice you are cutting down on your workload. I will miss the history but sure do understand. Let the hits keep on coming!

Don, I hear you when it comes to memories. I have shared so many special moments with Wendy. It’s amazing that Victoria is 31 and my oldest grandson Dylan (Wendy’s son) is 28! Dylan just moved to the Pittsburgh area and I can’t tell you how much I miss having him around. He’s the son I never had.
Yes, the history may have stopped but the music is going to be here for a long, long time!

Such nice comment between you guys. πŸ™‚ yes, sounds like Victoria is a lucky daughter as well as myself. Distance is hard but love keeps us connected in our hearts. And music helps too πŸ™‚
