A couple of weeks ago, you were all invited to listen to a Johnny Mathis medley on “Mellow Sunday”. This week you’re invited to listen to 30 minutes of soothing music from Neil Diamond.
After the week we’ve all just had, you absolutely need this! 🙂

The Neil Diamond Medley
What a great set of songs today .. Love Neil Diamond and his unique voice, I saw a video recently singing COVID song to Sweet Caroline lyrics and his voice still sounds amazing! With all the crap going on today – perfect end with “Coming to America” Thank you Ray and have a wonderful day!
Thanks, Penny 🙂
I’m glad you caught the significance of why I ended with that last song. This national nightmare has gone on far too long and I’m so happy you enjoyed the music. ❤️
This was exquisitely mellow and just what we needed! I thoroughly enjoyed each and every song and learned something new as well! I didn’t know UB40’s Red Red Wine was a cover of the terrific original version! Thank you, thank you, thank you! XOXOXOXO
Thanks, Wendyl ❤️
Listening to good music and learning something new at the same time is a wonderful thing!
Hearing another requested medley of YOUR songs tomorrow will be another very good thing! 🙂
XOXOXOXO
Ray you are one remarkable man! You always try to pick out music that will fit everyone’s needs. You will definitely have a place in heaven for your kindness! Neil Diamond is so soothing …. I’ve always loved his voice …. Coming to America was the best possible ending for today. Thanks Ray. I’m staying away from fb but try to pipe in long enough to listen to your music and history .. glad I saw this today!
Barbara, you are much too kind, but I sincerely thank you.
I am sorry to say I had to make a difficult decision this weekend. I can no longer continue to compile both history and medleys. It has, to be quite frank, become too much for me so I have decided to continue working on just the medleys because playing “oldies” was and continues to be the reason I started my first site over 15 years ago.
I hope you understand. 🙂
Of course I do Ray …. you have worked so hard for so long… and we have all been the beneficiaries of your efforts! Music is in your soul … and it expresses how we feel (or felt) so much better than words alone. It can be soothing, inspiring, and always makes every day brighter. I’ll continue to appreciate all you do as I’m sure others will. Take care and stay safe my friend … hope you are out there Rocking this Day! It is gorgeous …. God knows we need the sunshine and warm air and he has blessed us with both today!
Thanks, Barb.
In the words of Kiki Dee, “I’ve got the music in me.” 🙂
ROCK THE DAY!
