There has been one consistent request when people chose to write in. They wanted to hear The Beatles. I don’t want to disappoint them but while I’m going to honor (most of) their requests, I’m not going to play all of the songs they asked for.
I have added several of the most requested songs (the ones that everybody knows) but I decided to complete the medley by including a couple of tracks that don’t get a lot of airplay.
So Hey Jude, Something, Here Comes The Sun, Strawberry Fields Forever, I Want To Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, I Feel Fine and A Day In The Life, all of them requested multiple times, are not included.

Ray, first I am happy you decided not to pack your hair shirt and move to Tibet for a life of contemplation. If you had my mornings would be missing all the good music you provide to start the day.
That being said, it appears that you spent a good deal of time thinking about today’s selections. You can’t go wrong with the Beatles and I think that sometimes people get stuck with the most played songs. You didn’t fall for that trap. It was refreshing to hear these songs that were hiding in plain sight. Nice work.

The Tibet trip was canceled because I couldn’t envision spending the winter atop a snow covered mountain. I also thought how much I would miss our exchanges. 🙂
There are so many great Beatles songs that have slipped through the cracks and I was happy to give them some air. Glad you enjoyed them.

Loved loved loved hearing this medley! Liked that it was some of those that we don’t hear as much….well some more than others. Course Yesterday is an icon. Really enjoyed it, thanks Ray!
