A Medley For Peter

It’s one thing to request a medley but this one was a little more specific.

Peter not only suggested several songs, he also asked that they be played, if possible, on a Friday because he wanted to be the guy who “ended the work week with a buzz.”
It is very possible, Peter.

I like the way Peter thinks. Lots of my favorites here. Nice surprise by going deep with Tom Petty. Thank you Both Peter and Ray for a nice start to the weekend.

      Thanks, Don.
Great piano solo by Benmont Tench on that Petty track, and yes, that is a very deep cut.

Great set of songs Peter! And thank you Ray for putting it together. Now off to what is looking to be a 10 to 12 hour day! Have a wonderful day!

      Thanks, Penny 🙂
Keep a smile on your face (even if it’s difficult) and before you know it, the day will be over! ❤️

We are slowly catching up on the music history/medleys Ray. Made a lot of progress last weekend and hope to be fully caught up this weekend. As you know we have been sidetracked enjoy the 80-90 albums that have been in storage since January 1989.
I did read and listen to your offering today. Peter was spot on with his request, my humble opinion, and you delivered!
The Petty tract was totally unexpected and appreciated too. Have a good weekend and thanks again for all your efforts!

PS I have purchased two of the the very first albums I bought myself in the mid 60s.

      Thanks, Marty (and Karen) 🙂
I am so glad you’re enjoying listening to the “times of your life” on vinyl! There is something very special about hearing those songs the way they were intended to be heard. It is particularly cool when you can buy an album again that you bought over 50 years ago!
I’m also pleased you enjoyed the Petty song. That request caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting a deep cut that was deeper than most.
Have a GREAT weekend! (and good luck vs. Ohio State! 🙂

I tuned in this morning during a break and I can honestly say it ended my work week with a buzz! Thanks, Peter! 🙂

      Thanks, Wendyl ❤️
Yes, it was a nice set of songs, from getting out of this place to Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango (and a lengthy live gem from Mr. Petty)
      I’m glad you enjoyed it!
      XOXOXOXO

Thanks Peter! So many times in my life Get Outta This Place was so appropriate!
I think I missed my Glory Days…too busy surviving. Great Tom Petty song…love the piano! And of course Queen has us all rocking like we were young again.

Great set! Thanks to you too Ray
