Another look back to a time in our lives when we were young and innocent … lovin’ it for sure. The Supremes were on fire that year …. Rock the Day my friend ….

      Thanks, Barbara ๐Ÿ™‚
The Supremes (4) and Beatles (5) had a combined nine of the 27 #1 hits that year!
      ROCK THE DAY!

Another day of great songs. Must admit I didn’t recognize the name Wayne Fontana, but I certainly remember the song!! The Supremes had a great year. Saw them at Memorial Auditorium, I think in ’66. Diana Ross stole the show.

Back during my time at UVM, there were a lot of great acts in Burlington. Of course the price of concerts were reasonable, so we could afford to go.

Pat, we didn’t get many acts from 1965-69 (when I loved to L.A.) that came to Springfield ๐Ÿ˜‰
You were fortunate with location and affordability at the time.

Ray I really thought that this was going to be a supreme medly until you hinted I may be a dreamer!! That was just a mindbender and all I can say is stop in the name of love! For goodness sake Ray you know the purpose of a man is to love a women and I’m not asking you to play the game of love I’m asking you to remember that Mrs Brown had a lovely daughter and don’t forget Rhonda! They were so happy until you asked them to join you in hunting beatles. I can still hear Mrs Brown asking for help; she just kept saying help me Rhonda help me!! Well Ray, Mrs Brown got a ticket to ride with the Beach Boys!!

Wow! It just gets better and better! Isnโ€™t it interesting how similar Freddie and Peter sounded? Hermanโ€™s Hermits was my first concert, 1964, in New Hampshire! It was so exciting!
I miss those innocent days. Music is so powerful, thank you for reminding us.
    Canโ€™t wait to hear more!
