Another Mellow Sunday

Maybe it’s because the daily news just keeps pounding on our skulls. Maybe it’s because the politicians we all sent to Washington seem to have forgotten who they work for. Maybe it’s because 2020 has turned out to be nothing less than a disaster in so many ways.
Whatever the reason, I decided to stretch out the mellow Sunday medley to nearly 40 minutes today because 20 minutes just wasn’t going to cut it.
It all starts with a “music guarantee” in the opening few seconds. 🙂

I believe in love!! One of my favorites!!(Kenny Loggins wrote this??)The guitar on Last Laugh is on it’s second time!! I love that!! All were great choices Ray!! Perkins and Harrison unreal!! Melow on my ole pal!! Have a great day!!

  That song you mentioned was written by Roger Cook and Sam Hogin.
  Mark Knopfler (Last Laugh) was — and still is — a great guitarist. He’s a lot more than what he accomplished with Dire Straits.
  Perkins and Harrison took “mellow” to a new level with their song.

Listening on Monday morning. Beautiful songs and beautiful voices. Love Don Williams, and k.d. Lang’s voice is gorgeous. I, too, had never heard some of these, but loved them all. I believe in love(still!!)
