Great way to start the day Ray – mellow is always nice – watching videos I’ve never seen before and loving to see the difference in performers of our time – the sixties had so much good music – thanks for reminding us of that and for how lucky we were to be part of that time …. (BTW love the Beetle in San Francisco — that would be a hit even today!!!!)
Barbara, I wouldn’t trade the years we grew up in for anything. The music was the best … and yeah, that Beetle clinched it for me! 🙂
The last two days of 60s music has been a reminder of how fortunate we were to experience so many talented artists. Johnny Rivers was always one of my favorites and digging through through some of his older videos was a reminder of those good years.
Still catching up on the history lessons but appreciate the effort you put in to entertain and educate us everyday. Stay warm and out of the winter weather Ray.

I’d be very happy to focus exclusively on the music of the 60s but I know there are people who enjoy the 50s, 70s, and 80s, too.
As for the history, I still enjoy doing it, and comments such as yours makes it worth all the effort.

I think I’ve said it before but here it is regardless…I may be an 80’s girl in chronological age but I’d pick the 60’s over any other decade every time. I only wish I tuned in earlier in the day to have benefited from the “high” I get from great music! Love, love, love!!!
