“Paranoia strikes deep. Into your life it will creep. It starts when you’re always afraid. You step out of line, the man come and take you away”
~Stephen Stills
I’m spending this week putting together medleys of the songs that made up the soundtrack of MY teenage life. 1964 and 1965 are in the books so let’s turn to 1966.
Folk-Rock was suddenly the rage and it showed up consistently in my music choices for that year. Oh sure, there was still time for British (and American) rock but I had suddenly started checking out more American folk-rock artists.
As it turned out, that was a wise decision.

Soundtrack To My Life 1966 Medley
Young Rascals – Troggs – Lovin’ Spoonful
Beatles – The Who – Byrds – Bob Dylan
Cyrkle – Simon & Garfunkel – Paul Revere & The Raiders
Buffalo Springfield – Beach Boys
WoW, they just do not make songs like these anymore, so sad, but lucky for us, we have you to take us back to the good-old-days. Thank you!
Best music ever made, Nancy! ❤
