So it’s the first day of Spring and you’re probably expecting a medley filled with spring tunes; you know, the light and bouncy type of medley I usually play on this day. You could not possibly be more wrong.
If Spring is considered a rebirth of sorts (and it is), then that should mean it’s time to shake off the doldrums of winter and get moving.
That’s exactly what this medley is supposed to do.

Not Your Typical Spring Medley
Dave Clark Five – Chuck Berry – John Mellencamp
Beatles – Eurythmics – Bob Seger
Dire Straits – Lynyrd Skynyrd – Ian Hunter
HAHAHAHAHAHA, absolutely not light and springy Ray!! Makes me think of the deep effort required of spring cleaning and gardening!!😀.
It certainly got me moving when I put it together, Sharon. And it was no effort at all (because I like it loud!) 🙂
rock and roll until the break of dawn, go go, go Johnny, go go, Johnny B Goode. I’ll probably die in a small town, oh I can’t sleep at night, I’m not going to make it. Well I was born an original sinner, don’t mess with a missionary man cause someone’s out on the streets at night and you never get warm. Worst hangover I ever had, sex and money are my major kicks. It ain’t staring straight down a forty-four so show me the back door. You didn’t know that rock and roll burned, my, my, my, once bitten twice shy babe, you told me I was the only one!
Penny, I was smiling all the way though that one! ❤
Now that is the way to jump start spring, not that we need to do that here in So FL, but good for all my VT friends 🙂
Thanks, Nancy. I am so anxious to get outside again. I thought this might help motivate people. ❤
Wooee baby! Got me jumping first thing. Loved this grouping especially Johnny B Goode. Thanks Ray!!
Love it, Sandy! Get up and dance! ❤
