The Day The Music…

Several years ago, I produced a weekly series focused on events which took place in the 1960s. The Sixties Revolution was a lot more than just music, although that was certainly the main topic. It also covered social unrest, the growing dissatisfaction with government, and the counterculture.
There was one week when the program spent part of the time back in the 1950s as we looked back at the Day The Music Died before jumping back to the 60s with the Day It Came Back.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the death of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper, and it also marks the 55th anniversary of the arrival of the Beatles in the U.S.

Thank you, Penny. My voice was the least important part. 🙂
