When Music Was Music!

The 61st Grammy Awards will air on February 10 and I couldn’t care less. Hell, I have never heard of most of the nominees in the rock or pop field and those I do recognize don’t do a thing for me.
Personally, I find the majority of today’s stars to be little more than autotuned, video created characters that rely too much on flashing lights, back up dancers, and video editing to make them look like they’re actually singing.
I prefer the old days, when music was actually music. Sorry Lady Gaga or Imagine Dragons fans, I prefer the oldies, like these classics from 1968.

Equals – Lemon Pipers – Manfred Mann
Canned Heat – Beatles – Rolling Stones
Donovan – Status Quo – Cream – Steppenwolf

I agree Ray … I do know who Lady Gaga is, not sure about the other one … LOL
Great set to listen to as always!
Absolutely NOTHING can replace the music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s … music from that era can take you on a magic carpet ride …. 🙂
