Remembering Lennon

Even thirty-eight years later, it doesn’t seem possible. John Lennon, one of the primary voices of my generation, was gunned down outside his apartment building in New York City. I remember it as if it were yesterday.
He had no way of knowing, of course, but when the photo below was taken at the same windowsill John often sat at to “watch the wheels go by,” there was a lone nut waiting outside for an autograph. One hour later, Lennon would honor that request but less than six hours later, that same psycho would snuff out his life.
There are several medleys below, from the early years of The Beatles to the end of his all-too-brief solo career.
Listen and Remember.

There were so many other songs I could have added. He was an immense talent.
