A specific song request from Lynda P. inspired me to create a medley that goes quite well with the “mellow Wednesday” theme. Lynda thinks the song she requested deserved a better fate than just being a B-Side – and I agree – so I have come up with other songs that also found themselves on the flip side of a hit 45.
If you have oldies you want to hear, there’s three simple ways to get it done. Send an email to Raylemire@aol.com and tell me what you want to hear. If you’re using Facebook, you can send me a private message. Last, but not least, you can leave a comment at the bottom of this post. That’s all there is to it!

The Mellow B-Side Medley!
Simon & Garfunkel (A-Side was “I Am A Rock”)
Gerry & The Pacemakers (A-Side was “How Do You Do It”)
Johnny Mathis (A-Side was “Chances Are”)
Beatles (A-Side was “Ticket To Ride”)
Elvis Presley (A-Side was “She’s Not You”)
Thanks so much, Ray. Loved it. What year did the Elvis record come out? I don’t remember it. Liked that one too. All of them, a great selection of easy listening!
The Elvis song was released in 1962, Lynda. I’m very happy you enjoyed this. 🙂
