It’s time for another Monday Musical History Lesson. Included in today’s were the releases of three hit records on this date (and for two of them, the groups had no part in playing on them), the date a single shot to the top of the Billboard chart (and you get to hear the inspiration for it), the date a long-splintered group won a Grammy, and we celebrate the birthdays of two iconic rock and roll Hall of Famers.

It all starts with a Beach Boys song which has absolutely nothing to with February 26 – and therefore no place in this history lesson – but I like it. 🙂
