Different songs mean different things. Each song brings back specific memories of where you were or who you were with when you first heard it.

As an example, every single time I hear Pictures of Matchstick Men by Status Quo, my mind takes me back to Brando’s Pizza in North Springfield, VT because that’s where I was headed when I first heard the song.
