From The Archives This is a slightly different type of FriYay party. It’s mostly rock and roll but I threw a couple of quieter songs in just for those who like to chill out, too.

That’s why you get to hear George Thorogood and Bruce Springsteen in the same medley as Merrilee Rush and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. 🙂

This is an archive medley and it absolutely reflects what this site is supposed to be about. All too often I find myself drifting away from it in an attempt to please someone. That has become a problem for me and when I dug this medley out, it hit me like a thunderbolt. The oldies work!
I simply can’t please everyone so while I will continue tp take a once a week foray into the Country genre (the number of hits were half of what I usually receive every day), the “oldies” formula has worked for a long, long time.

There will be a special medley on Sunday. Not only will it be George Harrison’s birthday, someone else will be celebrating one, too! ❤
