Last week beat the hell out of all of us and this week isn’t lining up to be much better. Don’t get me started on the political aspect of it all because I could type all day. The less said about Washington, DC and the “leaders” we send there, the better.

Fortunately for me, music is and always has been my salvation so with that in mind, let’s start the week with some happy memories.

Sometimes you hear a song so often you can convince yourself it must be – or must have been – a #1 hit.

That is not always the case. Every single one of today’s songs were certainly monster hits, but none of them reached #1. None of them climbed as high as #2. They all stopped at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100
