“There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done.
Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game.
It’s easy.”

~John Lennon/Paul McCartney

I’m spending this week replaying medleys of the songs that made up the soundtrack of MY teenage life. Today we’re checking out 1967.
It was a coast-to-coast (and worldwide) amalgam of cultural change, political questioning, personal liberation and psychedelic exploration.
The musical year was filled with so many great songs so I couldn’t just do one medley. I had to play two!
From Haight-Ashbury to New York and beyond, the year’s touchstones included the Monterey Pop Festival and the Summer of Love (which explains the last song in the second medley).
