A few weeks ago, I played songs that were part of my 1964 personal soundtrack. It came as no surprise to anyone who knows me that a lot (most) of them were songs by British artists.
Today I’m playing more songs from that year but you won’t find the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks or Dave Clark Five on this list. Shocking though it may be, there were songs by other artists!
Yes, there are a couple from British Invasion groups but I didn’t want anyone thinking I don’t remember a lot of other great songs from a very magical year.
