Today’s the day! After too many years of bad prescriptions (that’s for you, Chris), I was fortunate enough to find another optometrist (thank you, Tom) who diagnosed me correctly. Did he try to talk me into another pair of glasses that wouldn’t have worked? Nope. He said I needed cataract surgery and I needed it now!
And so today, after years of poor eyesight (an understatement, because you have no idea how difficult it has been for me to write and post anything), I am headed to the first of two cataract surgeries with an ophthalmologist I trust completely. Hopefully, these blue eyes will finally be able to see again.
