Hey, does anyone remember the one-hour Sixties Revolution programs I did years ago? I know Rose Thow does! Just for kicks, I’m including one of those old shows from 2011, and if you listen to the very end, you’ll see I’ve been doing that “Peace, Love and Happiness” thing for years! πŸ™‚

Wow! I’m about 99% sure I had not heard a “Sixties Revolution” before. It was an interesting way for Ted & I to start the day so thank you Ray (& thank you Rose) for today’s music. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Thank you, Lee & Ted. ❀ I produced 40 weekly shows. They were fun to do, but each one took a lot of time. I have considered turning the daily medleys into a once a week “Revolution” shows, but I don’t think that would go over too well.

That was a lot of β€œguitarist”! Thank you!

I hope she does. She’s been insisting I play some of them for a long time!
      Love ya!

      Thank you, Mary Helen ❀
      I appreciate the kind words.

Yes, I do remember the Sixties Revolution programs … all of them!!

I have felt theses shows were a sophisticated compilation of history and music reflecting a “defining” time in our country’s history… Vietnam, anti-war protests, counter-culture, civil rights movements, assassinations, etc. Our world was forever changed by such events.

These programs were so well done and if you think about it ….. they (The Sixties Revolution) were the original “blathering” and “back stories” we enjoy in the current medleys πŸ˜‰

Thank you so much for this extraordinary work!

      Thank you, Rose ❀
I know you have been a fan of those old shows for quite some time. I’m glad someone enjoyed them! πŸ˜‰ As I recall, the overall reaction from listeners was mostly a deafening silence. Some of the programs were better than others so in my spare time, I’ll dig around to see if I can find a couple of them.

I loved this mix of history with music! I can only imagine the amount of work put into them!
Perhaps one week of each month you do one of these?

It had a lot of great songs and I remember every single one of them.

I try to incorporate history into today’s medleys, which are, by the way, closing in on 60 minutes. It’s not the history Rose mentioned but…
We’ll have to see. I was 60 when I did “Sixties Revolution” shows. I’m a lot older than that now.

I understand. It’s a LOT of work. I will love whatever you decide to do.

A LOT. One thing I have learned in my recent health struggles. I can no longer please everyone. I might want to but I simply can’t. I do what I can and hope it’s enough.
