It is another Rock and Roll Friday, but one with a slight twist. The first few songs fall into the “pop oldies” side, while the remainder of the songs fit quite nicely into “classic rock.”
The addition of the “classic” songs, generally longer as a rule, makes this a very long medley, clocking in at a little over 43 minutes. Of course, I could have omitted a song but I was having too much fun!

It was great hearing that voice of yours this morning, and as usual it was a great mix of songs from some great artists! Now you can relax, regroup, and take care of yourself for a couple of days! Enjoy 😉 the weekend and see you on Monday.😃
Thank you, Bruce. ❤ I am making a promise to myself not to say a word all weekend Hopefully that will clear up this throat problem!
As always, I am very pleased to know the music was enjoyed!

Hi Ray 🙂 Great music is always great music, thank you 1-24-2024 Was curious if this would repost when it popped up & it did. Thank you for “my” today’s musical memories. They have left me smiling 🙂 & I know where there’s more. Thank you. Lee
Thanks, Lee! ❤
If the music left you smiling, then I’m a very happy man!
Have a great weekend!
Killian and I loved a lot in this mix…we call it the “Poplassic” mix which is fantastic.
“We Can Work It Out” is one I use with him when there is a disagreement.
Killian says that Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog” should be “Black Cat” as he has a new black kitten.
We like “Tuff Enough” by the Fabulous Thunderbirds as well as “Cradle of Love” by Billy Idol because the words are easy to hear.
And who can’t love “White Room” and the great “Bohemian Rhapsody”!
Thank you Ray and enjoy your weekend. 💕✌️🙏🎶
Thank you, Jim & Killian! ❤❤
You have given me an idea for a Monday song!
I always appreciate your comments because you let me know which songs you enjoy the most!
I hope you boys have a marvelous weekend!
Ray the entire week of medleys was outstanding. Please rest your voice as much as possible as we selfishly look forward to hearing you next week. By the way, how do I get an appointment at Smiling Eddies? LOL
Thank you, Marty & Karen! ❤❤
Wow, that is quite a compliment and I thank you for it! I’m taking it easy this weekend, but I’m sure I’ll be good to on Monday! As for Eddie, his number is unlisted … LOL!
Have wonderful weekend!
Just now enjoying this great mix. PS, it’s not too long 🙂
Smiling here. Thanks so much for keeping us entertained. First and foremost, take care of yourself <3
Thank you, Eileen ❤
I appreciate getting your thoughts on “how long is too long” as far as the medleys go.
I am so glad you enjoyed it and it left you smiling! 🙂
This was great! I guess I never have really responded to the length of things but I can say unequivocably that I love the longer ones. When they’re limited to 25 or 30 minutes they seem to be over so quickly. It’s like you hardly started. Maybe I’m in the minority, but that’s OK. All of this was good. Of course I haven’t listen to classic rock for such a long time, excepting for a few songs, but it was really good to listen to some things I haven’t heard for quite a while. And I think I have finally gotten. To the catch-up part! Thank you so much. Looking forward to tomorrow! You’re the best.🥰
Thank you, Sandy, for taking part in the question about the length of the medleys. I understand that some people have a limited amount of time to listen to these, but s Jim Waters says, if he runs out of time one day, he can always go back later and finish it.
I’m glad you enjoyed this one! ❤
