Time To Get Moving!

We begin Thanksgiving week with a musical time machine from the archives! The new medleys return on Wednesday. Yep, Lemire is back!

We’ve got three #1 songs (one of them includes a backstory for Mary Helen), a rare gem from a band known for cartoon songs, a song that reached #12 but is now almost forgotten, a powerhouse vocal from Tom Jones, and a lot more!

She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah! I can still see and ehar my dad in his easy chair making fun of the “mop heads” as they sang that on the Ed Sullivan Show…lol! “Rag Doll” one of my all-time favorites. Thanks for giving me another trip back to my childhood, Ray. Great start for the week!

And a very good Monday morning hits the books! Starting off with the Beatles, and I remember that song oh so very well. And I’ve always loved the four seasons, any song they did, and their story in life, but ragdoll is one of my favorites of all. I loved all the rest of it. I loved hearing Tom Jones again and ending with Tom Petty, who has certainly had a lot of hits. This was one of the best with such lively, and inviting music first thing on Monday morning. Thank you, Ray really enjoyed it and why would you say? Because, you’re the best! 🥰

Delightful medley but how could it not be with some great artists and informative backstories?

Great mix. Some of these songs I have not listened to for a very very long time!
Thank you, Ray and it’s time for me to cut up the bread for our Thanksgiving Day Turkey while I watch some football that I recorded.

“She Loves Y0u” probably my favorite Beatles song. It brings back many memories from my Senior year in high school. Anyhow, a great mix today-don’t know about those Hombres though! Peace, love and anything else your heart desires, Ray.

Thank you, Pat. ❤️ I’m very glad you enjoyed the music although I guess the Hombres weren’t for everyone. 🙂
