A Job Well Done!

A couple of weeks ago, I asked listeners to send me five requests for songs from the 1960s, and wow, did you come through in a big way! Today we wrap up playing back those requests. Congratulations to all of you who took part.

I’m going to be taking a few days after today, but I’ll be back this Friday with something I think is going to be very special.

Thank YOU, Aleeta! All of the wonderful requests made it easy (and fun) for me, and that included your contributions! Thank you so much! ❤️

I’m disappointed too, Mary Helen, because I had it on my list of final songs. However, I put the medley together at 1:30 in the morning, and at that hour, I guess my eyes weren’t working properly. I’ll get to it first thing next week/

Another great medley my friend and thank you for playing my requests!!! It’s funny how I was talking to my sister earlier about music and what it means to me and I got to thinking how music has been a balm for me thru my life to get thru whatever!! You, my friend have been a huge part of that for the last 10 years or so as I navigated some of my darkest times — so Thank you for that and thank you for being you!!!!!!
Have a good rest of the week off and look forward to the next medley (I think I will be in Colorado then .. lol)
    XXOO

      Thank you, Penny ❤️
If my music has helped you in even a small way, I am very happy. It’s why I do what I do, even though that means usually doing it at 2:00 in the morning. Darn good thing I believe sleep is overrated! 🙂
Have a safe trip to Colorado!
      XOXO

Happy Tuesday Ray, I’m listening to the Monday Medley again. When it was over my mind was elsewhere & I had no idea what I had heard so I’m back as promised. Ted looked up Brenton Wood for me yesterday as I couldn’t place the name but the music I did 🙂 Loved the choices of music & the medley as I knew I had. Thank you Ray 🙂

Late to the party, as usual, but that means I have a week’s worth to enjoy! Another oldie, I’d love to hear is ‘Laurie”.. “Last night at the dance, I met Laurie…’
During this stressful week ahead “WE are the World” and “I’d Like to Hear the World to Sing” to remind us of the goodness in each of us! Love you my Friend! Thanks for the memories!

      Thank you, Bonnie ❤️
“Laurie” is part of tomorrow’s Halloween medley 🙂
I am planning a “Unity” medley for next Monday!
