It’s Throwback Thursday and this one is packed! By the way, I went long again … 12 songs and 42 minutes, but hey, the music is great and there are sure to be more than a wonderful memory or two. Maybe more! 🙂
There are six artists who became Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees on this date, two more who were born on January 19, three who sadly passed away, and a British Invasion song recorded on this date.

I hope your day just gets better and better!
Wow, so many Hall of Famer‘s, to be celebrated! But then so many talented and wonderful lives that were lost. This was certainly a cover of all type medley. I truly enjoyed it, could listen to the house of the rising Sun 50 times! Loved Rod Stewart, and certainly John Lennon, but not to be outdone by Elton John. This was Fantastic! I love them all. I am always amazed at how much care and decision-making goes into putting together a medley so that one song just seems to slide into the other. I still thoroughly enjoyed hearing your voice on the liners every single time! This time you were so informative! So again, Ray, You’re the best! 🥰. Special hi to Dylan! Hope all is going well with you and your recovery and sticking to that PT! You go, man! Sending hugs
Thanks, Sandy 🥰
I’m very happy you enjoyed it! It certainly was a mix of happy memories along with the sad.
I just got off the phone with Dylan and passed along your “special Hi.” It meant a lot to him ❤️
As promised this medley was the bomb!
Thanks, Mary Helen 🥰
Some days are better than others. Historical events dictate how much better.
So glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Ray. Another interesting medley. Set it up this am & just finished now. 🙂 🙂 Lee & Ted
Thanks, kids 🥰
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Well Ray another great day of memories!! And I really enjoy you giving us some history along with the tunes and I am the same age as Palmer!! You got me thru my walk!! And I must admit the music helps keep me focused on my rehab!! Any way knowing Dylan is on the mend is such good news and I know he will do well!!
Love ya
Thanks, Fred!
I’m pleased to do anything I can to help with your rehab, my friend. Keep on walking and rocking.
Dylan is still in the early stages of his rehab. It’s been a little tough but he is determined!
Love Ya!
