A Rockin’ Friday Medley!

It’s Friday and that seems like the perfect day to throw a rock and roll party! A dozen memories from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and yes, even the 80s!

If these songs don’t put some pep in your step, well, I give up. πŸ™‚

Loved the intro!! I liked it!! Good thing I don’t have a Pacemaker!! Man could that country boy play!! You got me chair dancin’. Ray oh can I go?? When I just heard the King of the DJ’S voice!! Little sister did cost me some problems! Oh how I loved Joe Cockers voice graspy. Another voice from the past…do I have my radio on?? Sounds like a voice I used to listen to everyday!! WCFR comes to mind!! Could that have been the managers voice..one who had one of the best shows on the air??? I’m Pretentering I’m back a few years!! Maybe I’m just Traveling with the Wilburys! It really is one great song after another. I think I’ll take a chance on you I just can’t let go after all I did see the Dancing Queen!! Joni and Manfred Mann should have sang this next song together!! They would have been happy forever.. Sha la la!! Wow speaking of being shot out of a Cannon holy cow down at the park!! The tunnel of love!! And next he says this is the sound track of our life!! How true is that!! And to end with Roy reminds me of that one look and she still gets anything at all!! Loved every second of this one!! Have a great weekend Ray!! Love ya!!

      Thanks, Fred!
I seem to have more fun putting together Friday medleys than any other day of the week. That’s the day I let my rock and roll heart run free. Your “story” was, as usual, very fascinating!
      Love Ya!

Such a peppy rock-n-roll party for a Friday!

I seem to recall the intro …. memories of fun times and as Fred mentioned, a voice from “radio past”… none like it …none can compare ~ <3

Oh my gosh, where do I begin? First of all let me just say this, I loved hearing your voice every kind of step of the way as an intro to the next song type thing. This is obviously something you need to do every single time. It sounds so great to hear your voice in there. I guess my most favorite has to be Freddy Cannon. But I also loved Gerry and The Pacemakers, Joe Cocker, Chuck Berry, and Abba. This was fantastic loved it, dance to do it, saying with it and loved every second! Ray, you’re the best! πŸ₯°

I have had that Cannon song in my head all morning! Heather and I interviewed Freddy several years ago during our morning show. He was a class act and so much fun! I’m so happy you enjoyed the music. πŸ™‚
