Wow, all the words came flooding back like it was yesterday. Amazing how I remembered all the lyrics. Some random thoughts: Chuck Berry really jammed a lot of words into his songs. Tommy Edwards was so smooth. I don’t think he is remembered or recognized as much as he deserves. What a voice! Both Buddy Holly & Eddie Cochran amassed such great, original songs/hits in their tragically short careers. One can only imagine what they could have achieved if only…Another Home Run today Ray. Makes me want to cruise to the malt shop in my hot rod for a burger. Thanks for the great memories.

      Thanks, Don.
You’re right about Tommy Edwards. He is but a footnote to that fabulous era.
I absolutely love the imagery in your last sentence!
      ROCK ON, BRO!

This was the best medley yet and it’s only Monday! Yes I sang along with every song, new 99% of the words. Funny how our recall is so magnificent when we thinking back 70 years ago. Gosh that’s making me feel old I got a quit referencing age here! I still feel young at heart, I believe that is one of the most important things. State of mind is where it’s at, and to have loved and still love it’s even more. Thank you Ray for this just fabulous collection of songs to take us on a trip back. Keep rocking sir! 😍

Sandy, you’ve done it again! Great commentary! It is funny how song lyrics from that long ago still live in our brain … and heart. ❤️
Enjoy this day and keep on rockin’, young lady! 🥰
