Let’s Hear It For The Girls!

“When women make their image about youth and sexuality, and not about intellect, that’s kind of a dead end road.”
~k.d. lang

As we approach Thanksgiving, I’m trying to show how “thankful” I am for female singers. Here are nine more songs by nine incredible female artists. Nothing “dead end” about any of these.

Another medley under my belt. This was so fun, I’m sure because we go back a ways and then come forward a little. What a great bunch of tunes! All of this was done to dancing with my Seth cat, while Lucy looked on in question! My buddies! Thank you so much for choosing these songs, and the artist. It was fun yet again! Ray you’re the best! Keep on rockin!

My late husband was a classmate of Dionne Warwick’s at Hartt College of Music in the early 60s. He always said he was not surprised she made it big.
K.d. Lang what a voice and so underrated.
Thanks for the medley of such distinctive voices
