2017 Musical Deaths, Part 3

The third day of our look back at the musical deaths of 2017. Using a quote from a Ray Davies song, these names include “some that you recognize, some that you’ve hardly even heard of,” but household names or not, each one of them contributed to the soundtrack of our lives.

More great songs!! As I listened too these songs, the picture in my mind is of all these artists at the time they made the music – for whatever reason, in my mind they are frozen to that time. That is why when I hear we have lost another … it hits you that time goes on and we all age ………….. All musicians, actors, etc… will leave a legacy to the world… and it is people like you who make sure that legacy carries on. I know I have said it before …. but thank you so much Ray for doing what you do when you don’t have to …. that is true dedication and caring!!!

YOU just made my day! Thank you so much. ❤️ I liked your “frozen in time” description. I feel the same way when I hear those songs!
